It's summertime! About 4 weeks ago we made Vin de Pamplemousse and last night we tasted it and it was mm-mmm good!
From Chez Panisse Fruit:
5*750ml bottles sauvignon blanc
~3c vodka (80 proof)
4 pink grapefruit
2 white grapefruit
2 meyer lemons or 2 eating oranges
1-2 cups sugar
1 vanilla bean
Slice the fruit, put all the ingredients together in a glass container, and seal. Let sit in refrigerator for about 4 weeks; adjust sugar. (I made a half recipe with only 1 cup vodka and vanilla extract instead of a whole bean.) À votre santé!
